Zoro steps back and lets Tashigi handle Monet.
Tashigi thinks Zoro is unable to cut a woman.

Long story short, Tashigi loses, but Zoro distracts Monet by giving her a small slice on her face making her bleed, just to show her he CAN in fact use haki.
Zoro says there are things he doesn't want to cut, but if he has to, he will.
He then slices her in half.

Zoro didn't use haki on this slice, so Monet is still alive... but she realizes he can easily kill her if he wanted to, and in fear, is unable to move.
She finally manages to shake it off and gets back up, but Tashigi slashes her in the back, bringing her down.


Oh, and in coverstory Caribou gets away on the ship, leaving his brother Coribou behind with the marines. What an ass.

As far as the title, after Zoro cuts Monet's cheek he says

"When you realized you're no match for me, you should have fled.
Of course there are things I don't like to cut... however
Let me ask you this. Have you ever seen a savage beast you can be for sure won't bite people? I sure haven't"

Then he proceeds to slice her in half.
